Summit Speech was founded to provide a more holistic and functional approach to traditional speech and language therapy. Rather than treating a symptom at the surface level, Olivia comprehensively assesses the condition to reach the root of the problem. Best interventions are achieved by listening to the parents’ concern and evaluating the child’s challenges from multiple perspectives. Olivia’s background and training in orofacial myofunctional work equips her with a unique lens through which she approaches speech therapy.
A model for your busy lifestyle
Services can be provided in your home, in your child’s school/daycare, or in the Murfreesboro office. Through all therapy models, parents are included as active members of the treatment team. Best results are achieved through treatment delivered by the SLP and carried over by the family.
Session Information
Summit Speech is a private-pay, out-of-network practice. Summit Speech does not work with insurance companies to process claims for services provided. We will provide you with paperwork which you can submit to your insurance company to independently receive reimbursement. Being an out-of-network practice allows us to dictate the best course of treatment for the patient based on the practitioner’s expertise and the child’s needs, rather than giving the insurance company the ability to dictate the treatment plan.
Evaluation session
The initial assessment consists of a parent interview, formal and informal testing, and rapport building with the child. The family is provided with a comprehensive report detailing outcomes and recommendations.

Treatment session
Frequency and duration of treatment sessions are dependent upon the needs of the child and the availability of the family. Most children benefit from weekly treatment appointments.
